HPLC Practical Guide is operated by Mohammad Abu Alrub in the United Arab Emirates.
By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to these Terms of Purchase, the applicable product description, our Refund Policy, and our Privacy Policy.
1. Digital Products
HPLC Practical Guide sells digital educational products, including:
- PDF guides
- Downloadable learning materials
- HPLC training resources
- Digital bundles and related educational content
All products are supplied digitally. No physical product will be shipped unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page.
After successful payment, access will normally be provided through the checkout platform, download page, customer account, or email delivery system used at the time of purchase.
2. Product Descriptions
We aim to describe each product accurately, including its:
- Title
- Format
- Main content
- Number of parts or files
- Intended audience
- Educational purpose
You are responsible for reviewing the product description before completing your purchase to determine whether the product is suitable for your needs.
Product images, mockups, screenshots, and promotional graphics are provided for presentation purposes. The delivered product will consist of the digital files or materials described on the relevant product page.
Minor differences in colors, layout display, file appearance, or device rendering do not constitute a product defect.
3. Pricing, Taxes, and Currency
The price applicable to your purchase is the price displayed at checkout when the order is submitted.
Prices may be changed at any time for future purchases. A price change will not affect an order that has already been successfully completed.
Applicable taxes, transaction charges, or platform fees may be calculated and displayed during checkout.
If your bank or payment provider converts the purchase into another currency, it may apply its own exchange rate or currency-conversion fee. These charges are controlled by the relevant bank or payment provider and not by HPLC Practical Guide.
4. Payment and Order Acceptance
Payments may be processed through Payhip or other third-party checkout and payment providers.
We do not directly store your complete credit card or payment card information on the HPLC Practical Guide website.
An order is generally considered accepted when:
- The payment has been successfully confirmed; and
- Access to the purchased product has been issued.
We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:
- An obvious pricing or product-listing error
- Suspected fraud or unauthorized payment
- A technical error that prevents fulfilment
- A legal or regulatory requirement
5. Delivery and Download Access
After successful payment, you should receive access to the purchased digital product.
You are responsible for providing a correct and accessible email address during checkout.
If you do not receive your download or access email:
- Check your spam, junk, and promotions folders.
- Confirm which email address was used during checkout.
- Contact us at:
contact@hplcpracticalguide.com
Please include:

We recommend downloading the files promptly and storing a personal backup copy.
Download links, customer accounts, and re-download access may be subject to reasonable security controls, download limits, platform availability, or account-verification requirements.
Lifetime Access
Where a product page refers to “Lifetime Access,” this means that you may continue using the version of the digital files you purchased for personal use, for as long as you retain those files and comply with these Terms.
“Lifetime Access” does not guarantee:
- Permanent hosting by HPLC Practical Guide or a third-party platform
- Unlimited re-downloads
- Permanent availability of a specific download link or platform
- Access to every future edition, update, or newly released product
You should therefore download and securely save your purchased files.

8. Refunds
Because digital products can be accessed or downloaded immediately, purchases are generally final once access has been provided.
However, refund requests may be reviewed in limited circumstances, including:
- An accidental duplicate purchase of the same product

For additional details, please review our Refund Policy.
9. Educational Purpose and Laboratory Safety

You are responsible for following your laboratory’s approved methods, safety procedures, quality systems, risk assessments, and applicable regulations.
Do not perform laboratory procedures solely on the basis of general educational material without appropriate authorization, training, supervision, and safety controls.
10. No Guarantee of Specific Results
We aim to provide accurate, practical, and useful educational content.
However, we do not guarantee that purchasing, reading, or applying the materials will result in:
- Employment
- Promotion
- Interview success
- Certification
- Academic success
- Laboratory authorization
- Regulatory acceptance
- A specific chromatographic result
- A particular professional or financial outcome
Results depend on factors including the purchaser’s education, experience, study effort, laboratory conditions, equipment, samples, methods, and workplace requirements.
11. Product Updates and Corrections
We may correct, revise, improve, or update digital products from time to time.
Unless expressly stated on the product page, the purchase of a product does not automatically include:
- Every future edition
- New parts or products
- Major expansions
- New formats
- Permanent update access
Where an updated file is made available to previous purchasers, access may depend on the technical capabilities and availability of the delivery platform.
We also reserve the right to correct typographical, scientific, formatting, or technical errors.
12. Technical Requirements
To access and use the digital products, you need:
- A compatible computer, tablet, or smartphone
- Software capable of opening PDF files
- A working internet connection for downloading
- Access to the email address used during checkout
- Sufficient device storage
You are responsible for ensuring that your device, software, security settings, and internet connection are compatible with the product.
Reasonable assistance may be provided for delivery issues, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, operating system, browser, application, or outdated software version.
13. Unauthorized Use
Unauthorized sharing, copying, resale, distribution, public upload, or commercial use of our digital products is prohibited.
If unauthorized use is reasonably suspected or detected, we may take appropriate action, including:
- Suspending or revoking download access
- Disabling associated customer access
- Refusing future transactions
- Submitting takedown requests
- Pursuing available legal remedies
Revocation of platform access does not transfer any ownership rights to the purchaser or authorize continued unauthorized use.
14. Third-Party Platforms
Purchases, payments, downloads, receipts, customer accounts, or product delivery may be handled through third-party providers such as Payhip and associated payment processors.
Your use of those services may also be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, technical requirements, and security procedures.
We are not responsible for temporary interruptions or failures caused solely by third-party systems or events outside our reasonable control.
However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist with legitimate delivery and access issues relating to your purchase.
Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, HPLC Practical Guide and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses arising from the purchase or use of a digital product.

Where liability cannot be excluded but may lawfully be limited, our total liability relating to a specific purchase will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability arising from fraud or other matters that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Purchase when our products, services, platforms, business practices, or legal obligations change.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
The version in effect at the time of your purchase will generally apply to that completed purchase.
Updated Terms will apply to future purchases and future use of services after their publication. Changes will not remove rights already acquired under a completed purchase where doing so would be unlawful.
17. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply in the purchaser’s country or jurisdiction.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly will be subject to the competent courts or authorities determined under applicable law.
Before initiating a formal dispute, we encourage you to contact us so that we can attempt to resolve the matter reasonably.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
A failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not constitute a permanent waiver of that provision.
